Hook into the Possibilities with Brooktrout Technology at
SpeechTEK West 2005

What: Brooktrout Technology will participate as
a Gold Level Sponsor at the upcoming SpeechTEK West. Executives
from the company will participate in three conference sessions.
Brooktrout’s Senior Product Manager for Enterprise Voice,
Charlie Baker, will participate in a panel discussion addressing
“Trends in the Telephony Speech Marketplace” on February
22 at 8:30 a.m. Mr. Baker will discuss how the trends in telephony
for speech recognition and text-to-speech have made delivery platforms
less expensive and more flexible to call centers, enterprises, and
telephone service providers.
At 1:00 p.m., Brooktrout’s Director of Market Development
for Enterprise Voice, Scott Wieder, will present, “Interactions,
Choice and Evolution in Multimodal Speech Standards” where
he will discuss the role of VoiceXML and SALT in developing multimodal
applications along with presenting a case study on mobile video
deployment. On February 23 at 9:45 a.m., Mr. Wieder will join a
panel on “Making the Transition to Speech-enabled and IP Telephony”
where he will present the range of alternatives in IP deployment
from board replacements to IP media servers.
Brooktrout will also demonstrate its TR1000™ speech platform
for Microsoft Speech Server. Brooktrout’s TR1000 for Microsoft
Speech Server provides the telephony support for Microsoft Speech
Server. It allows speech application developers to focus on application
design by presenting an abstraction layer for the underlying telephony
protocols and having the Brooktrout TIM manage all the telephony
resources.
