Brooktrout and BRESSNER Combine to Develop the European Voice and Speech Market

BRESSNER Technology Receives Preferred VAD Status within Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Eastern Europe

BRUSSELS, BELGIUM, 8 March 2005—Brooktrout Technology, Inc., a leading supplier of media processing and call control products, today announced a strategic relationship with BRESSNER Technology, a supplier of computer systems and components for enterprise, industrial and CTI applications, located in Groebenzell near Munich. The strategic relationship will provide developers of speech-enabled applications access to Brooktrout’s award-winning range of voice and speech products and value-added support in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland (DACH region).

For the first time, developers can work with a value added reseller (VAD) based in their DACH and Eastern European region who can deliver Brooktrout’s award winning TR1000™ voice and speech application development platform and TR1034™ intelligent fax board as well as receive technical support in their own language. Developers can take advantage of these best of breed, integrated platforms to create a broad array of speech, IVR, messaging, conferencing, and fax applications.
