Where: Supercomm 2005, McCormick Place, Chicago, Booth: 82046 When: June 6 – June 9, 2005 What: In booth #82046, Brooktrout will be highlighting its SIP application leadership by demonstrating its support with best-of-breed IMS application partners. Brooktrout’s SnowShore IP Media Server software will power a portfolio of innovative IP video, messaging, contact center, fixed-mobile convergence and prepaid solutions with partners including BayPackets, CTI2, FERMA, IBM, IPeria, Persona, RADVISION, Transera and uReach demonstrating its critical role as the platform of choice for delivering advanced SIP multimedia services within VoIP, 2.5G/3G, and IMS network architectures. In addition to the demonstrations and partners in the Brooktrout booth, Brooktrout’s SnowShore IP Media Server is featured in two IMS application demonstrations in the IBM booth #64045 (see separate press release at Supercomm for more details). Brooktrout will also be showcasing its SIP and IMS expertise at several conference sessions at the show. Brooktrout’s Chief Technology Officer of Next-Gen Communications, Eric Burger, will co-chair a full-day IEC TecForum session on June 6 from 9:45am to 4:15pm, “IMS – Wireline, Wireless and Broadband.” This session will review the network architecture for delivering end-user services, as well as several sample services themselves. It will also set these technical enhancements into a business framework by describing service-provider strategies for IMS deployment and business-case ramifications. Brooktrout’s Senior Product Manager Charlie Baker will also participate as a panelist on the session, along with representatives from Lucent Technologies, SBC Laboratories, Frost & Sullivan, BroadSoft, Kodiak Networks, and Comcast Cable. Mr. Burger is also speaking on two additional panel sessions at pulver.com’s SIP Summit @ Supercomm. He will present on “New Apps, New Servers” on June 8 at 1:00pm and on the “Doctors Are In” panel session on June 8 at 2:30pm.
