See the Latest in Enterprise Speech Recognition and Fax Products from Brooktrout at Microsoft Tech.Ed Europe 2005

What:At Microsoft Tech.Ed Europe 2005, Brooktrout will display its TR1000™ for Microsoft Speech Server (MSS) for which Brooktrout has obtained certifications with Windows Server 2003 and WHQL. TR1000 for MSS has also been tested with MSS 2004 R2, providing support for Microsoft’s latest release of Speech Server.
The TR1000 for MSS allows speech application developers to focus on application design by presenting an abstraction layer for the underlying telephony protocols that allow the Brooktrout Telephony Interface Manager (TIM) to manage all the telephony resources. The TIM controls communication between the TR1000 and telephone network, streams media for recognition and speech output, performs DTMF detection and processes all the call control.

In addition Brooktrout will display its recently announced TruFax® 250 and TruFax 450 BRI intelligent fax boards that now include MMR compression and Error Correction Mode (ECM), giving customers even greater fax reliability and connectivity. The TruFax boards are Microsoft® Windows® plug and play compliant.

Brooktrout will also display its TR1034™ high performance V.34 BRI, analogue and digital intelligent fax boards with real-time fax over IP.

Brooktrout’s award-winning fax products are used in conjunction with software from many leading business process automation and fax ISVs including: Captaris, stand D11 and Fenestrae, stand D29.
