Brooktrout to Deliver Information and Document Management Enforcing Fax Solutions at AIIM Europe Conference and Expo 2005

Brussels, Belgium, 11, October 2005—Brooktrout Technology, Inc., a leading supplier of media processing and call control products, today announced its participation at the AIIM Europe Conference and Expo 2005.

What: At AIIM Europe, Brooktrout will promote its industry leading fax offerings designed to help provide compliance-enforcing document management systems. Brooktrout-based network fax servers and third party fax management software can enable companies to electronically store, manage and retrieve documentation and communications, leaving a comprehensive audit trail, which can assist in ensuring compliance with the various worldwide compliance directives.

Brooktrout’s UK-based partner, Avanquest UK, will participate in the conference. Avanquest’s Corporate Solutions Sales Manager, Mike Rae, will present “Consider the options when it comes to reviewing business processes” on Tuesday, 25 October, at 13:00h.

Mr. Rae will present the case study of how Avanquest’s Enterprise Content Management solution helped a U.K-based employment agency streamline its system of processing temporary employees’ time sheets and business forms by moving away from the use of challenging handwritten forms and implementing a more efficient online process. Mr. Rae will describe how the new system made the payroll process much faster and more accurate.

At its stand, Brooktrout will display its industry leading fax products, including its new real-time fax over IP software-only fax processing product, the SR140™, which is designed to help businesses reduce their system complexity, simplify deployment and lower their maintenance costs.

Brooktrout will also feature its TR1034™ intelligent fax board for both PSTN and VoIP based fax capability, providing investment protection for businesses who plan on deploying a fax solution today on their existing PSTN network and migrating to IP when their needs change, using the same intelligent fax board and software. In addition, Brooktrout will display its TruFax® 250 and TruFax 450 BRI intelligent fax boards that now include MMR compression and Error Correction Mode (ECM), giving customers even greater fax reliability and connectivity. Brooktrout’s fax products are supported by over 45 fax server applications.
