Excel Switching Corporation Launches Excel OEM Partner Services (OPS)
- New Initiative Leverages Nearly Two Decades of Excellence to Offer OEMs, VARs and Application Developers Manufacturing and Integration Expertise from “Concept to Customer Delivery” -
HYANNIS, Mass. - June 7, 2005 – Excel Switching Corporation, a worldwide provider of carrier-class open services platforms, media gateways, and media servers announced today the formation of a new company division -- Excel OEM Partner Services (OPS) – created to provide OEMs, VARs and application developers with complete telecommunications system integration and manufacturing services.
Housed in a 40,000 square foot ISO 9001:2000 registered facility, Excel OPS offers a wide array of design, integration and support services that allow clients to leverage Excel’s integration capabilities in order to focus on their own, unique core competencies.
Excel OPS is a division of Excel Switching Corporation, an award-winning ISO certified provider of carrier-class telecommunications networking equipment, which currently has more than 8,500 systems deployed worldwide. This experience allows Excel to offer clients unmatched expertise in meeting rigorous requirements for providing reliable and compliant multi-vendor and multi-function integration services – from concept to customer delivery.
Engaging Excel OPS as a virtual manufacturing organization enables clients to bring products to market faster, have solutions packaging that is consistent with a product’s “look and feel,” increase production capacity to support rapid growth, and focus technical resources on core product offerings.
