LatiNode Announces Successful Deployment of
Excel's IMG 1010 Integrated VoIP Gateway

MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 29, 2005--LatiNode, a global VoIP-based telecommunications service provider, announced today that it has deployed Excel Switching Corporation's Integrated Media Gateway 1010 (IMG 1010) in its worldwide network. LatiNode is leveraging the IMG 1010 to provide VoIP-to-VoIP transcoding between multiple VoIP networks, and will expand this capability to include SIP-SS7 functionality.
Qualmax, a specialized VoIP solutions provider, systems integrator and Excel distribution partner, worked closely with LatiNode during the IMG 1010 selection and deployment process.
