Brooktrout TruFax® Series
Features & Benefits
High connectivity rates and transmissions speeds
TruFax’s Adaptive Call Progress, a built-in library of communication
algorithms that identify and adapt to various fax machines and line
conditions, ensures unparalleled levels of compatibility, high rates
of connectivity and high transmission speeds across the widest range
of fax machines and telephone line conditions.
High-Octane Performance with Mission-Critical Reliability
Unlike Class 1 and Class 2 fax modems and multipurpose telephony
adapters, TruFax is purpose-built for fax-only modulation, leveraging
advanced fax algorithms and dedicated fax-processing horsepower
to deliver high-octane performance and mission-critical reliability.
Fax-only modulation keeps your network secure from data call attempts.
The TruFax has Error Correction Mode (TruFax 250 and 450 only) to
ensure high first-attempt transmission rate and Modified Modified
Read (MMR) compression algorithm (TruFax 250 and 450 only) to reduce
transmission time by 2 to 3 times.
Onboard fax protocol processing off-loads utilization from the
server.
TruFax processes the fax onboard, lowering the CPU utilization
of the server and improving overall system performance.
Customer-Friendly Installation
End-Users can easily install and configure their TruFax BRI intelligent
fax board with the Windows GUI Installation, a graphical configuration
tool.
