Customized Professional Services
In addition to our structured Professional Services Programs, Cantata
also provides customized Professional Services to meet the varying
needs on our partners and customers. These customized services are
available in a wide range. Some possibilities are listed and described
below.
These services can also be customized and additional services are
available. We’ll work together with you to develop a Statement
of Work (SOW) that details the professional service efforts.
Following are some examples of how Cantata Professional Services
may assist you with your projects:
Customized Development Assistance Services
Development Assistance Services can be used during the planning
and development of your applications, or when adding functionality
to your existing solutions.
- Planning Services include an in-depth review
of project objectives and needs. We can match specific needs with
existing and future Cantata technologies that best address the
business objectives of time, cost and reliability.
- Capacity Planning provides expert advice on
capacity planning, configuration management, and software migration.
These services include recommendations to improve performance
and availability of your network and identification of best practice
for Cantata product configuration to meet application objectives
(e.g. BHCA, etc).
- Network Interface Design consultation includes
detailed call type flow analysis and resource planning. This service
includes an in depth review of call models for protocol selection
to provide system optimization and reliability.
- Application Interface Design consultation includes
API message use and system configuration. Complete review of all
API messages planned for use along with message structure and
nomenclature.
When planning to move into the Voice over IP world, we can assist
to make your transition quick and painless. We can review and make
recommendations on your implementation plan, including migrating
from your legacy system to IP telephony, enabling faster speed to
migration through improved efficiencies.
Lab Testing and Benchmarking Services
Lab Testing and Application Benchmarking Services provides a review
of customer test plans and can include complete testing of the integrated
solution.
- Benchmarking and Application Testing will assess
for performance, traffic load, and system availability utilizing
Cantata's lab systems, test equipment, and load generators.
- Regression Testing includes testing Customer's
new software builds against a defined test specification utilizing
Cantata's lab systems, test equipment, and load generators. Tests
can include performance, load, and feature testing as mutually
defined.
Lab equipment can be made available to the developer saving the
capital expense of purchasing extensive lab systems, test equipment
and load generators. This lab time can be scheduled daily, weekly
or more to fulfill the customer's ongoing lab testing needs.
On Site Installation and Turn up Services
During the initial implementation and ongoing installation and
turn up phases of your solution, Professional Services are available
to assist with the integration and test of your application in the
network. During deployment and upgrading phases, our expertise in
signaling, test equipment, and the Cantata platform is available.
Growing to multinode systems, or additional system expansion? We
bring you peace of mind when on site, assisting to ensure the upgrade
is a complete success!
Breaking new ground with a new Carrier or in a new Country? On
site Homologation and Certification Testing assistance is available.
When integration of new types of circuits and signaling are required
during the initial deployment (CCS, ISDN, SS7, VoIP, SIP, H.323),
or even long afterward, we're there for you.
If you plan on implementing VoIP services, Professional Services
provide assurances that your IP telephony network testing will pass
successfully, eliminating any unnecessary delays.
Health Check Service
Take advantage of our Health check service to Optimize your call
flows for maximum efficiency. This exciting offering can prove very
useful when trying to get the most from your combined Cantata solution.
Increase Busy Hour Call Attempts (BHCA) ensure your getting the
maximum from your investment. Our engineers utilize tools and expertise
to review your system performance and provide specific recommendations
that streamline your call flows to improve your operation.
PPL Development and Implementation
PPL development implementation includes capturing and implementing
the programmable elements of the CSP and your application. This
effort typically includes customization of existing default Channel
Associated Signaling (CAS) and other signaling protocols (E1, T1).
PPL development can also apply to larger efforts that involve custom
protocol development
Custom Training
Custom On Site Training
is offered ensuring your staff is up to speed on Cantata’s
products as they relate to your overall solution.
